From Varanasi
Main streets of Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world dating back to Babylon times.
Street foods, whipped milk products. The milk is very good in this country. Cows are considered sacred in India as their milk is used for butter, yogurt and milk. Their dung is shaped into disks and used for fire. Their urine is used as medicine or paint. And their labor is used to till the farms.
Pilgrims on the way to temple from the ghat (stairs to the river)
Ghats or stairs to the river.
Holyman blesses my mother on the street.
